Seaview Golf & Country Club has played host to a number of Nova Scotia Golf Association Events in the past few years.

  • In 2005 Seaview Golf & Country Club hosted the NSGA Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship. Robert Collins captured the title in 2005 over a field of 162 golfers.
  • In 2007 Seaview Golf & Country Club was called upon to host the Men’s Amateur which was played over four days from July 4th to 7th. Leon Carter captured the title in 2007 over a field of 121 golfers.
  • In 2009 Seaview Golf & Country Club hosted the Junior Championship which was played over four days from July 13th to 16th. Eric Locke captured the title over a field of 113 golfers.
  • Seaview was once again awarded the Nova Scotia Junior Championship in 2013 with the Nova Scotia Bantam Championship held during the same week.The junior title was won by Bruce Tomie with a 4-day total of 291.Seaview’s Joe MacDonald tied for 3rd place and went on to complete in the National Championships in Sudbury,Ontario.The Junior Girls title was won by Bernadette Little with a 4-day total of 306 and broke the Seaview Ladies courses record when she shot 71 on Day 3 of the tournament.Juvenile Girls champion was Allison Chandler who recorded 337 over the four days.The combined events had a total of 158 competitors,one of the largest in recent years.

 

  • In 2015, Seaview Golf & Country Club once again hosted the Nova Scotia Mid-Amateur Championship during the week of July 13th. A talented field of 128, including 13 players from Seaview, competed over 54 holes for the Championship. Stuart Lenehan of Grandview Golf & Country Club won the title with a 3-day total of 208 including a sizzling 67 in the final round. Past Seaview member Trevor Chow, now at Ashburn, finished 3rd place and long-time member Aaron Barrington finished in 5th place.
  • Being called upon to host a number of Nova Scotia Golf Association Events shows why Seaview Golf & Country Club ranks as one of the nicest and most challenging golf courses in Nova Scotia.
